Happy September and welcome to the new and improved Laurel’s Crown Farmstead Cheese website!

At this point, we are all well aware life can be unpredictable. While the internet condemned our old website to a black hole somewhere (without a shred of warning), we have embraced the chance to upgrade!

If you already follow us on social media, you know that Covid threw a wrench in all sorts of plans. We were suppose to have our new cheese operation well underway and of course as with most of world, everything came do a screeching halt. As everything get sorted out, licensing and construction should be getting back on track.

But that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy do all sorts of other things!

We’ve already welcomed three new calves this year, Lucy, Buck & Mabel, hired on Tiernan, our new farm helper extraordinnaire, planted gardens, cut hay, cut hay AGAIN, bundled hay, painted cheese rooms and indulged in our favorite pastime: fixing broken pipes & sprinklers!

Friendly reminder: Those aren’t scratching posts, gals!

As we close in on Fall, we look forward to what 2022 is going to bring and hopefully that means a little catch up and FINALLY some cheese!
